Santa Barbara Applied Research, Inc. (SBAR) strives to be the premier provider of experienced and highly qualified technical support.
| SBAR personnel are involved in assisting the Government to determine logistics support requirements for existing, new, and updates of naval systems. Requirements are reviewed and recommendations made to OEM production contracts. We assist in requirement determination, review of contractor responses, make evaluation recommendations, and assist in oversight of the work effort to ensure the end product meets design specifications. Most recently, we reviewed and recommended specific training and technical manual changes to the Mod 10/11 production contract. We will review the products when developed and make final recommendations to the Government. SBARs support in this area consists of developing interim supply support plans for weapon systems. SBAR also develops User Logistics Support Summaries (ULSSs), Maintenance Plans, top-down breakdown drawing packages, Integrated Logistics Support Plans, and technical training documentation for these programs.
